"A 3rd and final chapter available free, unlike the two other releases. Some sounds date back as far as 2009, when I begun my work on monolyth & cobalt. Some of these pieces of sound have been kept in a file named : D.Rhöne. These are more abstract works, more subterranean streams and tones, even maybe more "dark" or noisy sounds. Three years later I had released the first D.Rhöne full album, and I did not use these original sounds. Obviously it was necessary to come back to them and add to it some new works, or rather some new pieces from the last several months and try to have a complete opus for the final D.Rhöne, the last chapter. It's an exode. The scope of possibilities in this project, attempt to approach the limits of my codes, close a loop, come back to the beginning and to give it an appropriate ending."

D.Rhone has poured his heart, and his soul, into the music on this release for Subterranean Tide ... and it shows: each track, whilst reserved & minimal in presentation, conveys considerable atmosphere and expresses deeply held emotion. This is immersive music that rewards the attentive and I, for one, am listening."

It's getting near impossible to pick favourites from Jason Corder's expansive catalogue,( there are SO many gems!) - but this offering approaches the finest moments of our 20th+ century avantgarde- more akin to works like Part, Ligeti, Reich- we came up with the phrase "Chamber Ambient" just for this work - ( !! ) -a sonic experience not to be missed. -ss/tm/am editions vaché
